St. Maria Goretti Coloring & Activity Sheet

$2.25

Saint Maria Goretti's earthly life was brief, ending in physical suffering for the young martyr, and yet, Maria's life was filled with graces- even to the end. In her final days, she spoke only of love for her family, trust in God, and forgiveness of the man whose sinfulness and violence resulted in her death. She is attributed with the miraculous conversion of her own murderer, which speaks to the power our prayers hold over sin and suffering. What a beautiful lesson for Catholics of all ages! As such, I have created an activity page that encourages reflection on the life of St. Maria Goretti, and is suitable for children, teens, and adults.

This printable worksheet includes a brief description of the young saint's life, a simple drawing activity, a prayerful journal prompt, and a meditative writing exercise, with words taken from the official prayer of intercession to Maria Goretti. Little ones may need assistance with the bigger words in this activity; older children and adults may wish to take extra time to prayerfully meditate on the prompts provided. This worksheet works especially well as a homeschool activity for the whole family- little ones, big siblings, and parents!

This purchase is eligible for individual, household, or single-classroom use. While I encourage you to print this file as many times as you like for your own personal use, please refrain from distributing to friands/colleagues and instead direct them to my shop, where they can support my continued work! For mass distribution copies, such as for school or parish-wide distribution, please purchase a subscription or email hello@littlebotanical.store
